The installation position should be as vertical as possible, but it must be installed at an angle when there is a flow rate. The outlet of the terminal box should face downward.

The thermal resistance should be wired in accordance with regulations, generally using a three-wire system.
The connecting wire should be insulated (preferably open) copper wire, its cross-sectional area should be ≥1.0 mm2, and the resistance of the wire should be registered according to the regulations of the display instrument.
Thermal inertia causes armored RTD change to lag temperature change. In order to eliminate the error caused by it, the outer diameter of the thermal resistance protection tube should be reduced as much as possible, and the insertion depth of the thermal resistance should be appropriately increased to increase the heating resistance. The condition of the protective tube should be checked frequently, and measures should be taken immediately if oxidation or deformation is found, and periodic inspection should be performed.
