The reason why the measured value of thermocouple is lower than the actual value?

As the most common temperature measuring element, thermocouples often encounter such problems in the actual use process, that is, the data measured by thermocouples is smaller than the actual value, so the reason why the measured value of thermocouple is lower than the actual value?
1. Leakage of electrode inside thermocouple (local short circuit);
Solution: take out the thermocouple electrode and check the cause of leakage. If it is caused by poor insulation of insulating pipe, it should be replaced;
2. Thermocouple internal humidity;
Solution: take out the thermocouple electrode, dry the thermocouple protection tube and electrode respectively, check whether the protection tube has air leakage, water leakage and other phenomena, and replace the unqualified protection tube (what are the thermocouple protection tubes);
3. Deterioration or corrosion of thermoelectric pole;
Solution: cut off the deteriorated part, re weld the working end, or replace the new thermocouple;
4. Local short circuit of terminals in thermocouple junction box;
Solution: open the terminal box cover, clean the terminal, eliminate the cause of local short circuit, and close the terminal box;
5. Local short circuit of compensation conductor;
Solution: re insulate the local short circuit or replace the compensation wire;
6. The configuration of compensation wire and thermocouple is wrong;
Solution: replace with compensation wire matched with thermocouple;
7. The polarity of compensation wire and thermoelectric pole is reversed;
Solution: re connect;
8. Improper installation position or insufficient insertion depth of thermocouple;
Solution: change the installation position or method and insertion depth;
9. The reference terminal temperature of thermocouple is too high or the temperature of two contacts is different;
Solution: accurate temperature compensation of reference terminal;
10. The type of thermocouple is inconsistent with the graduation number of the instrument;
Solution: replace the thermocouple and compensation wire to make it consistent with the graduation number of the measuring instrument;
11. The resistance of thermocouple circuit is too large;
Solution: adjust the resistance to meet the requirements;
12. Too much scale on the surface of thermocouple protection tube;
Solution: remove the thermocouple and clear the scale outside the protection tube;
